How to Accept a HIT

Anyone can qualify to complete a HIT. To participate, just sign up to be a Mechanical Turk worker at mturk.com and look for requester “xtine”.

USING MTURK.COM

1. Register for an Amazon account
To accept a HIT on mturk.com, you have to sign into your Amazon account. If you have an account that you use to buy or sell books or other products on Amazon, you are ready to work on mturk.com.

2. Use the search tool to locate a HIT

For instance, when I posted a HIT for Mechanical Olympics, searching with the word, “Olympics” resulted in the HITs I had posted. You can also search for the requester “xtine” to see anything I have posted.

3. Make sure your bank account is up to date on Amazon.com
All monetary transactions take place through the Amazon.com interface. Amazon will transfer funds from the requester’s account to the worker’s account.
